We have now after 11 years made the decision to stop breeding. We have thoroughly enjoyed raising these amazing cats and have met some lovely people during this time. Breeding is very time consuming, and is expensive if done properly, and it also comes with both highs and lows, but it has been worth it. We will really miss having those adorable kittens running round the house.
We still have a few adults who are staying with us, and one who we are still taking out to shows. We would hope to always have one or two of these wonderful animals to share our home with.
Thank you to everyone who has rehomed our kittens and our adults, and we hope that you enjoy life with a Ragdoll or two as much as we do.
We do still have a couple of cats looking for new homes. Please see our Older Cats page for details.
Now it is time for new hobbies, and some holidays.
Martina and Alan
We recently had a small litter of kittens and they have now all been reserved/sold. We are not expecting to have any more kittens available. Our waiting list has now been closed.
There is a huge demand for Ragdoll kittens and we would urge anyone looking for a kitten to only rehome one from a registered breeder, either registered with The British Ragdoll Cat Club, or with another bona fide club.
We are really pleased that our gorgeous Blue Cream Tortie girl has gained her Premier Title, at just 13 months of age.
She is a very pretty girl with a super personality, friendly and mischievous, and is winning over the judges. Next show, here we come….
We were out at the show yesterday for the first time with our lovely Blue Tortie girl, Peaches and Cream. Everyone loved her, but who wouldn’t!
She finished with 1st in her class and a Premier Certificate, and with 2 other firsts, 2 seconds and a 3rd in her side classes. Nice to know that the judges like her too.
Generally Ragdolls get on very well together but every now and then, whilst individually being very loving and easy going, there is a clash of personalities, or they just do not get on with another house member. Unfortunately you can never guarantee that every one will be happy with whoever they live, although generally they do.
5 years ago a couple had two seal colourpoint female kittens from us who settled well into their loving new home. In 2015 they decided to add to their ‘family’, and rehomed two male kittens; a blue colourpoint and a blue bicolour. Despite all of their efforts, rather then the kittens settling alongside the girls, they just do not get on at all. They have been separated in the house, but this is not a long term solution. The owners have therefore come to the very difficult decision to rehome one of the pairs as this will be better for the cats.
If you would be interested in rehoming either the two 5-year old girls, or the two 2-year old boys please contact us by email and we can provide you with further information about each of the cats.
We really do love to hear news from new owners as to how their kittens have settled and especially to receive photos so that we can see how they have developed. One particular kitten that we hear from regularly is Kantial Xylo, who has recently reached his first birthday. What a beauty he is turning into!
From 8 weeks to 3 1/2 years! How he has grown! Always good to hear how our kittens progress and to receive photos of them as adults!
Sadly our original ragdoll, Bailey, the face of Kantial, finally passed away earlier this month. He was a great example of the breed, with beautiful blue eyes and a beautiful nature to match. He was the smallest rather than the ‘best’ in the litter but we chose him because of his stunning blue eyes, which were the best! He rewarded us with 15+ years of love and cuddles. He is sadly missed.
We occasionally have kittens available; please check our KITTENS page.
We do not have Kittens available now but may have more later in the year, but our waiting list is currently closed. Please check the Kittens page and when the list reopens, please email with a little about yourself and what you are looking for. Please do not just leave voicemails – we get too many calls to reply to them all.
We will also be looking to rehome some older cats over the next year. Please contact us, by email, if you would be interested in rehoming an older Ragdoll, telling us a little about yourself and what your preferences are.
We have recently rehomed the following – a lovely 8 month old blue colourpoint neutered boy and a seal colourpoint neutered girl, both happily settled in their new forever homes.
Dawnmist had her first litter of really good sized kittens in April, and she has been a really good mum. Paddington, a lovely blue colourpoint boy is staying with us as a potential new stud cat.
